 In game 33 at Interior Savings Center Surrey squared off against the home town Kamloops Jardines Blazers.  With Surrey leading 1-0 a delayed penalty to Kamloops was signalled and Surrey scored on their own net.  The last Kamloops player to touch the puck would be credited with a goal.  The lucky player was Goaltender Ty Hamer-Jackson, we believe this is the first ever goal scored or credited to a goaltender in KIBIHT.  Hamer-Jackson was presented the puck as a memento!

The 2010 Wally Craig Memorial Award winner was announced today at the annual KIBIHT breakfast.  This award is given annually to the volunteer who demonstrates dedication, great work ethic, never complains and just gets the job done.  There are many volunteers who work hundreds of  hours and make the tournament the continuing success that it is.  This years Wally Craig Memorial Award Winner is Ian Shaw-MacLaren.  If you see him around the rink please congratulate him and most of all thank him for his hard work.
